Full-Contact Karate — Orlando, Florida
The strongest karate. No point fighting, no pulled punches — Kyokushin tests what you are made of. Train here.
Founded by Masutatsu Oyama in 1964, Kyokushin — "ultimate truth" — is the full-contact discipline that redefined what karate demands of the body. Strikes land. Knockdowns are recorded. The ranking system reflects combat, not ceremony.
Central Florida Kyokushin operates out of Orlando on Old Cheney Highway, training practitioners at every stage — from first stepping onto the mat to competitors preparing for knockdown tournament rules. The curriculum is the same one Oyama built: basics driven to mastery, controlled sparring that escalates, kata examined as fighting science.
No pads on the body. No point stops. You learn to take the hit and answer it. That is the system and it has produced fighters, not performances, for sixty years.
Stances, basic strikes, blocks, and falling safely. The foundation every Kyokushin practitioner builds before first contact sparring. Open to adults with no prior martial arts experience.
Kihon, kata, and controlled kumite — the full Kyokushin curriculum delivered to mixed-rank students. Class structure follows the IKO syllabus; promotion examinations held periodically.
Conditioning, clinch strategy, leg-kick defense, and stamina work for competitors entering knockdown-rules tournaments. Entry by instructor approval.
Structured Kyokushin for younger students — discipline, respect, and controlled contact appropriate to age and stage. Contact the dojo for current enrollment.
